Annual International Scaffolers Championship is brought to you by Baltic Scaffolders Association team. First championship cup was held in Vilnius, Lithuania (LITEXPO exhibition room at RESTA fair) in 2019. That year 9 teams participated from 5 countries (Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Russia). The first cup won UAB “HOTREMA” companies team from Mažeikiai city (Lithuania)
The second annual BSA Scaffolders Championship was planed to take plane in Vilnius, Lithuania in April 2020. But due to COVID19 and pandemic situation was canceled and postponed to 2022 year.
New championship will start at April 22 2022. Team draw will start at Baltic Scaffolders Association (BSA) training center Salininkų g 82, Vilnius (Lithuania). That day teams will know construction drawings and material list, teams will have up to 14 hours to prepare and plan installation works.
Felling that you can compete in this championship? Than what are you waiting for??? All you need is a team with 6 persons that knows how to build modular Layher Allround scaffoldings. There is no fee or entrance payment for participating. YES!!! It’s free for all, participants and spectators.
All participants must have: Work clothes (helmet, protection glasses, gloves, work boots), PPE safety harness with flex safety ropes, tools like hammer, magnet level, ratchet spanner.
Team can have a team manager and support group for cheering you up 🙂
OK, it’s always about the refereeing, we know that 🙂 And we want to make this objectively and as clear as possible. So do you think you can handle the ref’s load on your shoulders?
Are you a professional scaffolder or inspector with good knowledge of safety labor and working in the high? Than you can try to be a championship referee – we need good specialist that can help us. Building scaffoldings is not about the speed, firstly it’s about safety.
Only one thing – the participating team members (or members from their representing company) can’t be a referees.
So as you probably already know – organization side Baltic Scaffolders Association (BSA) makes this championship free for everyone. The main idea is to make scaffolders profession popular among the young people and to show world that scaffolders career is really hard and interesting.
BSA is non-profit organization that represents Baltic scaffolders and scaffoling companies in different institutions. BSA couldn’t make championship alone without side help. We are grateful, that companies all over Europe are supporting our idea and becomes championship sponsors.
